The Russian State Research Center JSC “RPA CNIITMASH” (being the part of Rosatom's machine building division - i.e. JSC “Atomenergomash”) has completed training courses for Indian engineers planned for the year of 2018. These courses took place at the Center for General Engineering and Technical Education (TSOITO) in Ranchi (Republic of India), at the premises of HEC Ltd (one of the largest state-owned machine-building enterprises in India) with the aid of the State Department of heavy mechanical engineering.

As part of the Agreement between CNIITMASH and HEC Ltd, 120 specialists have already completed six training courses out of nine planned. The remaining 3 courses will be read by the CNIITMASH scientists to the Indian machine builders in 2019. The final course of the current year was attended by 20 Indian engineers and was called “Technology of casting blanks equipment for heavy and power engineering” and lasted for 9 days.

After completion of one of the training courses, Mr. Avijit Ghosh, Chairman and Manager of HEC Ltd. sent an official letter to Vladislav Lurye, Head of the CNIITMASH delegation, thanking them for lecturing on the advanced training course named “Steelmaking and after-treatment of steel in power engineering and heavy engineering” that took place in autumn. These courses were attended by 21 representatives of mechanical engineering and metallurgy in India. All participants were encouraged by the tutorials, they have successfully passed an exam and are intended to apply the obtained knowledge practically.

In his official letter the Head of HEC Ltd expressed profound gratitude to the Head of the Russian delegation Vladislav Lurye, who is also one of the project’s lecturers, and assessed the effect of “personal contribution to the development and conduct of advanced competence development courses called “Steelmaking and after-treatment of steel in power engineering and heavy engineering”. The Indian colleagues also made a great point of Luyrye’s weight in development of materials for the training courses, and commended "his excellent interactive classes, as well as personal focus on participants of the course and their technological background."

The lecturer Vladislav Lurye said: “I consider our course to be very successful. All participants emphasized value of tutorials: Presented materials were at least a mean for collation of useful knowledge that expands one's perspectives, if not a breakthrough. And above all, the received information is required for work completion. The group of participants included regular engineers, however there was also a steel metallurgist, who’s experience in managing the steel-smelting shop is 26 years. There were representatives of expert organizations, those that are responsible for future direction of Indian’s machine-building enterprises. I was extremely pleased to see how much each of them was involved.”

Heavy Engineering Corporation Ltd (HEC Ltd) is an Indian state-owned company operating in the field of heavy engineering. The cooperation Agreement between НЕС Ltd and CNIITMASH was signed in December 2015.
