On December 3, 'NC Astana EXPO 2017' and 'Rosatom International Network' signed a memorandum of cooperation for establishment of a workgroup, identification of further ways of cooperation, assignment of appropriate partnership status, and provision of partnership privileges.
Akhmetzhan Yessimov, Chairman of Managing Board of 'NC Astana EXPO 2017', and 'Aleksandr Merten', President of 'Rosatom International Network', were present at the official signing ceremony.
'The head of our state drew our attention to the need in use of a potential of both domestic and transnational companies. One of key objectives of EXPO 2017 is to arrange cooperation with international companies. We are sure that the signing of the memorandum between our companies today will allow us to establish a basis of mutually beneficial cooperation, and will make sure that EXPO 2017 Exhibition will be held at the utmost level' - noted A. Yessimov.
In his turn, Aleksandr Merten, President of 'Rosatom International Network' noted: 'The signing of the memorandum is the beginning of our joint activities with 'Astana EXPO 2017'. We plan to develop a joint plan of promotion of our brands, namely, 'EXPO 2017 International Exhibition', first of all, through a network of foreign representative offices of our state corporation, and 'Rosatom', at the stages of preparing and holding the exhibition'.
The parties discussed possible ways of cooperation.

'NC Astana EXPO 2017' JSC was established on January 15, 2013 for preparing and holding EXPO 2017 International Special Exhibition. The exhibition will be held in Astana from June 10 through September 10, 2017. It is expected that about 100 countries, at least, 10 international organizations, and 10 leading innovation technology companies will participate in the exhibition. In addition, it is expected that the exhibition will hold over 2 million visitors, and will have over 5 million visits.
'Rosatom International Network' is a member of 'Rosatom' State Nuclear Energy Corporation. The company was established at the end of 2014 for management of foreign offices of 'Rosatom' State Corporation. The company's main objective is to assist in promotion of products and services of Russian atomic industry companies in the global market.
