OKB “GIDROPRESS” JSC (company of the machine-buidling division of Rosatom – “Atomenergomash”) shipped expanded graphite gaskets (2050 pcs.) for “Rooppur” NPP, Unit 2 on April 12, 2021. The gaskets will be used for the reactor plant upper unit.
Expanded graphite gaskets of various dimension-types are designed and manufactured at OKB “GIDROPRESS” JSC. They are used for sealing of sealing units of VVER rector plant equipment of operating and newly commisioned power Units both in Russia and abroad. Expanded graphite gaskets can be used in thermal engineering, petrochemical industry, car manufacturing.
The scientific and Production Division of OKB “GIDROPRESS” JSC was one of the first to start implementing PSR-methodology and production culture in business processes. The Section of Tests of Mechanisms and Sealings has successfully implemented a number of PSR-projects, aimed at meeting contractual dates of delivery of expanded graphite items.
OKB “GIDROPRESS” JSC ships more than two thousand expanded graphite gaskets for “Rooppur” NPP under construction.
