Branch of FSUE RFNC-VNIIEF – NIIIS named after Y. Sedakov (a company of Rosatom State Corporation) successfully completed the acceptance tests of operator control panels for normal operation equipment and electrical equipment, as well as operator control software and hardware package for safety systems (safety panels) for Rooppur NPP Unit 1.
The tests were witnessed by the committee including representatives of the branch of FSUE RFNC-VNIIEF – NIIIS named after Y. Sedakov (developer and supplier of the systems), RASU JSC (overall I&C supplier), JSC ASE (general contractor of the NPP construction), JSC VPO ZAES (an authorized organization of JSC ASE), VO Safety (an authorized organization of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission), and JSC Atomenergoproekt (the NPP general designer).
The tests confirmed that elements of the supplied operator panels are compliant with requirements of the acceptance test program and procedure. The representatives of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission also witnessed the corresponding check point of the quality plan.
After the next stage, which includes packing and final acceptance inspection of the equipment, the cargo will be delivered to the St. Petersburg port. It is expected to be completed by the end of May.
