Uranium One Inc., a member of Rosatom's international mining company – Uranium One, has become a winner of the open international tender for the supply of 982,000 pounds (approximately 400 tons) of natural uranium in 2017 for the purposes of Indústrias Nucleares do Brasil (INB) engaged in the production of fuel for nuclear power plants. The results of the contest have been published in the official journal of the federal government of Brazil.
“This is the first supply of our company’s products not only to Brazil, but also to South America, – said Mr. Vasily Konstantinov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Uranium One Inc. – We are pleased that our proposal has been ranked as the best one, and we look forward to the cooperation with the Brazilian fuel company INB, which opens new horizons for the sales geography, and provides a basis for successful collaboration on projects throughout the region”.
