On the 30th of May, 2016, at the International Forum ATOMEXPO 2016, Vice President for Commerce and International Cooperation of JSC TVEL Oleg Grigoriev held negotiations with Director for NFC and SNF of Slovenské elektrárne Juraj Rovný. The meeting discussed prospects of further cooperation of the two companies. The parties discussed a possibility of additional deliveries of fuel for the stock that would meet the ESA.
Juraj Rovný said, the Slovak party values long-time and mutually beneficial cooperation with JSC TVEL in supplying Russian nuclear fuel to operating units of Mohovce and Bohunice NPP. He noted, the uninterruptible supplies of reliable and safe fuel are the basic premise for broadening the partnership, which is based on mutual trust for a very long time.
We value very high quality of Russian nuclear fuel, Juraj Rovný noted. Our cooperation has been on line for more than 30 years and the results of nuclear fuel operation are very good in terms of safety and reliability, he said. JCS TVEL is a reliable partner for us, he added.
