On the 31st of May, 2016, at the International Forum ATOMEXPO 2016, JSC TVEL and the National Center for Nuclear Research of Poland signed the contract for supply of nuclear targets for Polish research reactor Maria.
The documents were signed by Vice President for Commerce and International Cooperation of JSC TVEL Oleg Grigoriev and Director of the National Center for Nuclear Research of Poland Krzysztof Kurek. The representative of the Polish party reminded that last year JSC TVEL had won the tender for fuel supply for research reactor Maria and came to the Polish market after seven-year pause.
'We signed today a contract, which is the second in a row, noted Krzysztof Kurek. Fuel Company will supply nuclear targets to us, which we need for research and medical purposes, he said. Like the first contract, selection of JSC TVEL as a nuclear target supplier has been made owing to exclusively beneficial offer, which is the best in quality and price in the market', he added.
